A painting of a child’s play area in the South of France. At the time it was being constructed.

John has decided not to complete the painting as the play area is unfinished therefore there are only vertical wooden drift wood constructs to show what is being produced. There are hemispheres emerging from the ground giving the area a surreal effect. The colourful brush strokes reflect the nature of the subject matter, with greens, reds and yellows. However, there are no children in the scene. 74cm x 94cm including frame.
